Robyn Stern, LCSWAs someone who has lived experience with both Body Dysmorphic Disorder and Anxiety, I have a unique perspective and approach working with my clients. I combine research-based treatment and my own successful treatment strategies and tailor them to each individual client. I work from a holistic lens, looking at the entire person and provide individualized treatment that is unique to each individual, as these disorders may be complex and require deeper work in addition to evidence-based treatment. BDD, OCD, BFRBs and Anxiety Disorders can be life-changing and painful. However, with the right modality, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, Habit Reversal Training and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, you can learn to not engage in compulsions, challenge the way you think and feel, and most importantly, come to experience a healthier and better quality of life, value-based living. I am professionally trained in CBT/ERP, ACT, DBT, Habit Reversal Training and Trauma Informed Therapy practices.
