When you purchase a ticket, you receive a unique log-in and password to be used by one person. Only one device at a time can be logged in with this username and password. If multiple people attend the conference and only one ticket is purchased, all attendees will need to watch the same presentations. The presentations will be available for 60 days after the conference. Additional tickets may be purchased until Friday, November 14.

The conference begins with an introduction and orientation to the website, followed by the keynote presentation at 9 AM PST. After a short break, at 11:15 AM PST the first of four breakout sessions begin. During each of the four breakout sessions, that last 1 hour fifteen minutes each, there are 7 presentations offered. At 11:15 AM PST, you will choose one of the seven presentations listed under Session I to watch (see below in regard to switching rooms during a breakout session). When the second breakout session begins at 12:45 PM PST, you have a new list of seven talks from which to choose. Therefore, by the end of the conference you will have attended the orientation and keynote presentation, selected talks during the four breakout sessions on Saturday and the three breakout sessions on Sunday, and the final wrap-up session.

Yes, you can participate in the entire conference without turning on your camera, and you can join us using your cell phone.

Everyone is welcome to attend any presentation they choose.

You are able to move from room to room during a session. If you enter a virtual room to watch a presentation and decide you would prefer to attend a different talk, you can leave and enter a new room and a new talk. Think of it as if you were at an in-person conference, there would be 7 presentations happening in seven rooms. You can either go to one room and watch the presentation in its entirety, or you can go back-and-forth between rooms and see parts of several presentations. The conference is using a Zoom platform; you can leave and enter breakout rooms in the same manner as you do when using Zoom. Leaving a room will return you to the conference website under the “Sessions” tab or CLICK HERE. Click on the new talk you would like to attend.

The talks will be recorded and will be available for 60 days after the conference for those who purchase a ticket. A separate email will be sent to you after the conference; it will provide instructions for accessing the recordings on the conference website, as well as the presentation materials.  Please allow 5 days for the materials to be uploaded to the platform.  You will receive an email when they are available for access.  Access to the presentations will end on January 16, 2026.

Yes, you must attend the entire presentation live to get the CEs, and attendance will be taken during the presentation. You will be asked to complete a Google Document that will be entered into the Chat-this document asks for your name only and will confirm your attendance of the session.

A link to a brief evaluation will be displayed at the end of the presentation. You will be required to complete the evaluation, which includes providing a license number and evaluation of the presentation. The deadline for completing the evaluation is December 3. No credit will be awarded for attendance if evaluations are not received by December 3.

You will be emailed with your CE certificates by January 2026 due to the holiday season. If you need confirmation of conference attendance, as well as CE completion prior to the estimated January 2026 date for license renewal, please email info@ocdsocal.org.
